RMT (registered massage therapy)

In British Columbia, Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are  highly trained, licensed healthcare professionals who are regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). RMTs are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions using hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and personalized care plans.

RMTs have the highest training standards in North America, and   are required to complete continuing education to maintain their licenses.
